Zawawi was rescued by a kind lady after he was very badly beaten by a man in the street.  She gave him shelter at her workplace but he cannot live there forever.  The lady told us that because he is a large dog weighing around 35kg people were scared of him on the street and he was always subject to their violence.

After taking refuge in the workshop Zawawi no longer wants to be on the streets.  He is frightened to go out there.  He also doesn’t like the extreme heat in Egypt.  She believes he would love a comfortable home to call his own.

He is good with the street dogs and cats but does need to be fed separately.  His rescuer will prepare him for travel once a home can be found.  He is neutered and vaccinated.
