About

Josh is a young pup who was being sold at a market with other retrievers.  He was very weak and unwell with blood parasites and severe anaemia.  A rescuer saw him and took the 3 dogs that were being sold back to her shelter as she could see they were very sick.  She also noticed that Josh was limping.  He had x-rays and was diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia.  This isn’t bothering him too much at the moment but he will need an assessment in the UK which we can help with if needed.  He is very friendly with dogs, people including children.  He is not yet cat tested but this could be arranged for any serious applicant.
He weighs 15kg currently but will grow and fill out more now that he is recovering.

Type of Home Needed

A home happy to adopt a dog that will need time to adjust and find his feet. A home willing to put the work into basic training and life skills with a young dog.  A home willing to support a dog (practically) through a medical investigation and potential treatment.  We will help with funds if needed.
