Kiko was rescued as a young puppy from the streets with a very bad eye injury. This had been inflicted on her by humans.
The eye was operated on multiple times and eventually surgically removed, she made a good recovery. She is otherwise in good health and a very sociable girl. Her rescuer says she will make a great family dog. She is good with other dogs and people of all ages.
Kiko was previously due to go to homes in Sweden and then the UK but both those opportunities fell through due to changes in circumstances (through no fault of her own)
Her rescuers are hoping this will be her third time lucky at a forever home!
Her rescuer says : “Kiko is a very caring cuddly dog, her infectious smile brings warmth to anyone’s heart. Despite the tough life and the abuse Kiko has been through, she is very trusting around people, sociable and good around children.”
She will need time to find her feet after making the long journey to the UK from Iraq.
Kiko is 32kg and spayed.
