About
Meet this stunning young boy Amil, who is looking for a 🏠in the UK
Weight : 4.8 kg
Rescue Story in brief :
Amil’s story began in one of the harshest parts of Sharjah. A place where countless strays fight for survival every single day living amongst labour camps, scrap metal yards, and car repair garages. When his rescuer first saw him she could tell something was terribly wrong. He had a bite wound that, in just two short days, had turned into a severe infection.
He was rushed to the vet for urgent care. The wound was badly infected, pus was oozing out for four to five days. The vets had to carefully express and clean the wound every single day for several days to prevent the infection from spreading further. Through it all, Amil stayed brave. He never once lashed out.
Today, Amil has fully healed and loved, and he will never have to fight alone again. His journey is a reminder that every life matters, no matter where it begins.
From a forgotten street cat to a place of love. Amil deserves a beautiful tomorrow.
Health or disability details: He has some nerve damage which makes him slip when running sometimes.
He is litter trained.
Temperament details : With slow integration he can do well with other cats, but he is best placed as a solo cat. He is currently kept with 5 cats in a small office space so can deliver the odd swipe at another cat but there are no reported serious fights or injuries.
He is not tested with dogs.
He has not been tested with children. Although his rescuer does believe he would be a lovely brother.
Amil is a real love bug making it quite hard to get things done as he just wants to sit on you and be loved all the time!
He was neutered and tested on 10 October 2025. Negative for FIV and Felv.
Our physio in the UK has looked at videos of Amil and thinks his back legs could be strengthened further with treatment and exercises done at home.
His rescuer will cover his costs to the UK but would appreciate a donation. He will arrive into London Heathrow.
Type of Home Needed
