Zorro’s journey began on the streets of Kuwait, where he was found completely alone at just 4 to 6 weeks old—malnourished, dehydrated, and suffering from ringworm. With no mother in sight and loud cries, his rescuer couldn’t leave him. Thankfully, a compassionate rescuer heard him. In a country where many kittens don’t survive—often falling victim to disease, accidents, or human cruelty—Zorro was one of the lucky few.

Now nearly two years old, Zorro has blossomed into a playful, curious, and affectionate young cat. He loves to entertain himself with toys, zoom around the flat , and play with his fellow rescued friends. His personality is a delightful mix of independence and sweetness—full of energy but also content to quietly lounge near those he trust.

Zorro does have feline asthma, likely caused by Kuwait’s poor air quality, a condition that affects many cats in the region. Fortunately, his asthma is manageable and not life-limiting. In fact, his vets believe that with access to cleaner air and a low-stress environment, his condition may improve—or even disappear entirely.

Zorro currently lives in a small flat with several other rescued cats. While his rescuer provides all the love and care she can, space is limited and knows Zorro is not happy. Local adoptions are very low and tragically pet abandonment remains high, making it difficult—and sometimes dangerous—for animals like Zorro to find safe homes.

That’s why Zorro is now looking for a forever home abroad. He needs a loving, spacious environment where he can breathe easy, explore safely, and finally settle into the life he was always meant to have.
