Just before Christmas 2024 we were asked by our friends at Desperate Dogs of Azerbaijan to advise on the case of Zach.
Zach had entered the UK THAT DAY and his adopters already wanted him collected and taken away for good.
His paws had barely hit the ground before he was rejected.
How unbelievably sad.
Their adopter had gone through 2 home checks, interview and all the usual scrutiny. The DDA charity could not have done anymore!
Sometimes well meaning humans just don’t have what it takes to rescue from abroad.
We wanted to help.
Zach is now in a short term temporary foster in Yorkshire and we have agreed to put him up for adoption with RBU from Miracle’s Mission.
Zach is a big strong lad at 18 months old and 25kg. He is neutered.
He needs basic life skills training with humane methods.
He is friendly with people and dogs but sensible precautions must be in place around integration with dogs.
Meet and greets in Yorkshire, but he can be adopted UK wide.
He’s a pup and he needs someone who has patience, understanding and most of all staying power. This needs to be his forever home.
