Ivy has had a very tough life! She was used as a breeding machine for years and then dumped. She was then taken to a shelter by a kennel worker.
She had terrible cherry eyes and various tumours and sores on her body. She has had her eyes corrected, her tumours removed and been spayed. She has taken all this really well and remains very sweet with people and dogs.
She cannot live with cats.
She has been fostered by some kind helpers at the shelter and they say she has adapted well to living in their home. She picked up potty training really quickly and has been a joy to look after. They say whoever adopts Ivy will be very lucky to have her.
Ivy will not do well for extended periods on her own, particularly if there are no other dogs as company. She would like her humans to be around most of the time.
Ivy currently weighs 28kg
