Amber was hit by a car badly injuring her front leg.

Someone called the shelter and she was taken in.  Unfortunately, due to the sheer number of dogs there she was not getting the medical assistance she needed.  Some volunteers took responsibility for Amber and took her to see a surgeon.  Her leg was beyond repair and had to be amputated.

Amber made a very good recovery from the surgery.  Amber is good with dogs, and people.  She has met a 9 year old child without issue.  Amber adjusted well to living in a home while recovering from surgery.

Amber is spayed and weighs approximately 15kg but is a little slim.  She is a little shy but very sweet and loving.
