Coromba (Epilepsy) – Looking for an Adopter

3 years aprox

Golden retriever

Current Location

Egypt – he can travel when he has an adopter willing to pay his travel, he has no funds in place currently.  The cost to bring him to the UK would be around £1000 plus adoption fee of £200

Country to Adopt to

Coromba spent his early life living in a domestic home with his mother.  The family surrendered both dogs to a very large shelter in Egypt.  Coromba found this very stressful.  He had a bad skin condition on arrival and was having many seizures.  This is now controlled with medication.

Coromba is bonded with his mother (who is also available for adoption from the shelter) but he can also spend time apart from her.  He forms close friendships with other dogs there.  He is also cat tested.  He weighs around 30kg and is neutered.

Type of Home Needed

A loving home happy to care for a dog with epilepsy.  He will need medication for life and dogs can become incontinent during fits.

His adopters will need to be able to cope with this as well as giving medication internally (rectally) if needed.
