Nellie is a beautiful girl who was very sadly attacked by large dogs in a state shelter in Turkey. Both of her hips were broken and both her back legs as well as her back. She was operated on but the operation was not done correctly and she was left with a shattered pelvis and both back legs pinned back fusing one completely. Nellie has made a remarkable self healed recovery and is now mobile on all 4 legs. She has full x-rays and videos available for any interested adopters.
Nellie is a really lovely girl who enjoys cuddles and is a happy and joyful. She is good with dogs and children but she prefers calm, good natured dogs. She does not do well with dogs that are too rough. She has not been cat tested.
Part of her pelvis now pushes on her pelvic canal causing a narrowing effect therefore she has olive oil in her food to help her pass faeces but she toilets fine on her own both urinating and passing faeces.
Nellie is spayed and weighs 25 kilos.
Nellie has shown high value treat and chew aggression in foster (towards dogs and people) For this reason we will home her to an adult only household. She needs to be fed treats separately from other dogs.
