Grace (front leg deformities and urinary incontinence) – not currently available for rehoming

Current Location

UK – Doncaster

Country to Adopt to

Grace is a beautiful girl. She adores people and she loves to cuddle and be close to you. She is mobile and active but has deformed front legs which cause her to walk differently. She is currently in foster where she has been recovering from surgery to put a metal plate into one of her front legs. Once she has fully recovered she will have a metal plate put into the other leg. This will hopefully give her much more time to play and live life to the fullest.

She was suspected to have Ectopic Ureter which caused her bladder to leak. She has had surgery to try to fix this however her muscles are weakened so there are still some leaking issues. She is currently on Propaline to see if this helps. It may be that this can be helped with surgery also, but our main focus is her legs for the time being. Regardless of whether her urinary incontinence does or does not improve,  her urinary issues can be easily managed with our help and guidance.

Grace is good with other dogs but has not been cat tested. She weighs 13 kilos and is spayed.

Type of Home Needed

A loving home that can accept and love a dog that may or may not walk with a limp long term depending on how her paw affects her at a later age and a dog that may or may not have life long bladder leakages.
